“But you’re a freelance translator, how can you have a team?”
Well, sometimes I work on projects that require a second pair of eyes. Like complex French catalogues for museum exhibitions. Or where the client wants US English. Or where the project is simply too big for one person. And that’s when I call in a trusted colleague.
I’ve been working with Elisabeth Lyman, an American translator living in Paris, for many years. I also have colleagues I can call on for both Swedish and Norwegian to English projects.
